How often do you click the envelope email icon from your bed or at your desk in the morning only to find yourself holding your breath, cringing in anticipation of the “fire alarm” emails which will determine the fate of your day?
Your boss. Your client. Your partner. Your Mom! “This didn’t arrive. Where is it?!” “Can you join a call at 8:30am? (5 minutes away)” “Sorry, no can do.” You feel me.
This morning something weird happened. I was working from home and logged in earlier than usual at 7:00AM because of a flight later in the day. I had already completed daily meditation practice and I knew it was going to be a busy morning. Without any sort of plan right before I “clicked the envelope” I said a little prayer. It went something like this “I am ready for whatever is in that inbox. I can handle anything and I will make the best of it all.” I hadn’t set the intention of saying the prayer it strangely automatically came through me. Then it got WEIRDER because the emails were all great news!
I had been waiting on confirmation from a partner on content for a big meeting and I got it. Another client sent a very nice, appreciative email based on a call from the day before. The proposed calls I made the day before were all accepted. There were a couple of challenging emails but they were not as BIG or extreme because I was ready for anything. This email prayer is going right into my daily mindfulness practice!
Give it a shot tomorrow. See what happens. Before opening your email close your eyes and say the email prayer! Feel it fully, believe it truly and get ready for email miracles.
Peace, Love, Sales,
Nadene
